A virtual streamer box at your fingertips.
Streamers leverages the power of today's video cards to replace clunky, expensive, old-fashioned hardware streamer boxes with a far more flexible software-based solution.
How it works:
Streamers works by rendering streamers, punches, and other visual cues to a transparent window that sits on top of your sequencer's movie window. Events are triggered by MIDI messages (either MIDI notes or Tesla-style sysex) sent to Streamers's virtual MIDI endpoint. It's compatible with any Mac-based sequencer that can handle MIDI, and requires no special hardware or specific video codecs. Just place the window, choose Streamers as a MIDI device, and go!
Innovative features.
Streamers was (to our knowledge) the first program ever to render streamers and punches directly in software, and it remains (to our knowledge) the highest-performing and most flexible software to do so. Now that tradition of innovation is continued in version 2, which introduces even more cutting-edge features. A new free-time clock syncs to incoming MIDI Time Code (MTC), and displays streamers along the second hand. Streamers and punches have adjustable opacity. Streamers can be rendered ADR-style. And much more...
